GUEST TESTIMONIALS

Marita’s Vineyard is also on Yelp!

“I’ve traveled the world experiencing insider tours of wineries and enjoying the most amazing luscious wine and food extravaganzas. I’ve sipped with superstar wine makers, had my picture taken with celebrity winery owners and gawked at one-of-kind car and crystal collections. I love all of it of course, but one thing I’ve learned is when it is all stripped away, winemakers and winery owners want you to love their wine. I recently experienced magic in a bottle and called the winemaker to find out more. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this luscious, perfect wine was made by two brothers whose souls have been intertwined with grapevines their entire lives. Bulmaro and Manuel Jr. Montes, owners of Marita’s Vineyard were born with the magic in their hands.

- BACK COUNTRY WINES

The level of quality and standards they hold themselves to is truly unbelievable and obvious when you taste their wines. We were so fortunate to have Bulmaro host our tasting and learned so much from him in the two hours we were there.” (read more)

- AND THEN I PUT AN EGG ON IT

And while we received the first SOMA and 2005 Marita’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon as samples, subsequent bottles we purchased for ourselves. We recommend that you do too.” (read more)

- ANOTHER WINE BLOG

We had heard about this amazing place from some friends in Dallas.  All other Cabs are likely to pale in comparison after you’ve had this wine. A trip to Marita’s Vineyard is not just a wine tasting – it’s a wine experience. To visit the home of the winemaker, listen to him explain his winemaking philosophy and drink wine with him out of his private cellar was tremendous and one of the highlights of our trip this year. We ended up joining the wine club and our first shipment arrived yesterday. That is definitely some wine that will be saved for special occasions!” (read more)

- DEANDRA'S WINE BLOG

“Eventually you come to enlightenment. This isn’t about the wine- it’s about relationship. Suddenly you are part of the their family, feeling at home, comfortable, and you don’t want to leave. By the time it was over there was no hesitation about hugs – we were leaving good friends!” (read more)

- ADVENTURES IN NAPA-LAND

“Marita’s Vineyard ($150) is named after Mara, who was inspirational to Bulmaro. It is one of the best wines made in the Valley, and the one that inspired us to first visit the family, and then pull out a credit card so we could own some.” (read more)

- AMATEUR GASTRONOMER

“I can think of two that just really impress me, one of them is so good that it practically brings tears to my eyes when I taste it, Marita’s Vineyard.
